The MLRC Institute (formerly the LDRC Institute) is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit corporation created in 1988 to sponsor and support First Amendment education and research projects.  It has received a grant from the Dow Jones Foundation to fund a one-year fellowship position.  The WSJ-MLRC Institute Free Speech Fellow assists in supporting and further developing the Institute's First Amendment education and research projects.

The MLRC Institute Board thanks the Dow Jones Foundation and the Wall Street Journal for their continued support of the organization.
